I have extensive past experience as a military spouse. I honor and recognize the unique challenges faced by the individuals and families of high-stress, fast-paced jobs, with chronic exposure to intense content.
I understand that for some, the important role that faith, Christian values, and spirituality can play in healing and daily life, and I respect each client’s beliefs as a meaningful part of their story.
I bring a well-rounded approach to my work, having worked in multiple settings within the mental health field, including community-based care for individuals with Serious Mental Illness (SMI), a psychiatric inpatient hospital and emergency center, a family support center, and traditional outpatient therapy.
I take this work seriously and am committed to ongoing professional development to provide the highest level of care. I regularly pursue advanced training across multiple evidence-based modalities, including Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Brainspotting, and Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), allowing treatment to be thoughtfully tailored to each individual or couple.
Outside the therapy room, I’m a mom of three teenagers. You’ll usually find me sipping coffee, hiking the endless trails of Northern Nevada, or planning my next beach escape.
